The 2015 Cadillac Escalade is scheduled to hit showrooms late March or early April.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will soon be hitting showroom floors.

Several dealerships have confirmed to Consumer Press that salesmen are scheduled for training during the first week of March.

The new Escalade will definitely not be released until after their training.

According to the dealers we contacted, the 2015 Cadillac Escalade is expected to be released in late March or early April.

Tagged by Cadillac as “The Official Mover of the Shakers,” the new 2015 Cadillac Escalade is considered to be the crown jewel of their entire fleet.

The Escalade will feature GM’s new 6.2-liter V-8 engine, which offers 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.  When additional power is not needed, GM’s active fuel management system will switch off four cylinders.

Safety Features

The SUV now has forward collision alert which prepares the car to stop before the driver knows he has to.

Other notable safety features include lane departure warnings, safety alert seats, front automatic braking, and rear automatic braking.

Side-blind zone alert, lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic alert also come standard on their Luxury model.

Exterior

The exterior is boxier than previous Escalade models.

It has a hands-free lift gate which allows you to simply place your foot under the rear bumper to lift the hatch.

Another new feature on the vehicle are the Total Internal Reflection LED high beams, which use four vertically stacked crystal lenses.  Also, the illuminated exterior door handles, LED taillights, and the 20-inch or 22-inch wheels are sure to be impressive.

Interior

The interior includes redesigned seats, a new instrument panel, and center console that features Cadillac’s CUE telematics system on an 8-inch color screen.

The configurable instrument cluster is displayed on a 12.3-inch high-definition screen.

More space, more fun?  The front row includes 1.4 inches more headroom and 4 more inches of legroom. Additionally, the second and third rows will fold flat to allow for better cargo management.

Power fold-and-tumble second-row seats is another one of the standout features in this new SUV.

The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will have a starting price of $71,695 (*not including $995 for destination) and offers three purchasing options: Standard, Luxury, and Premium. Autoblog is reporting that Cadillac has confirmed to them that the Luxury version will start at $75,695 and the Premium at $80,195.
