Walmart has announced that the iPad Air is now on rollback, effectively reducing its price to $349. The model on sale is the 16 GB Wi-Fi one, meaning no 4G connectivity.
The iPad Air launched in 2013, but has since been succeeded by the iPad Air 2.
As is the case with all Apple tech, that doesn’t make the iPad Air 1 any less innovative.
The current iPad Air 2 costs $489, which is about $140 more than the rollbacked Air 1.
The first Air offers basically the same amount of features as its successor. The main difference being that the Air 2 carries a slightly improved processing chip and is slightly slimmer.
The IPad Air has a slightly inferior (but still amazing) Apple A7 chip. But considering the price, this is a great deal.
There’s no telling how long the rollback sale will last, so take advantage of it while you can. I’m definitely expecting a lot more iPad owners to pop up in the next few days.
Will you be picking up the iPad Air, or are you waiting for the next expensive product from Apple’s inventory?
