iPhone 6 & iWatch: Countdown to Apple Media Event

In anticipation for tomorrow’s major “media” event, Apple has begun redirecting web traffic from Apple.com and Apple.com/live to a new event countdown page.

Apple’s media event this year will take place tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) at California’s Flint Center. The Flint Center is also where Steve Jobs first unveiled the original Macintosh in 1984.

Apple has held many media events in the past, at which they have announced new iPods, iPads and the like. However, tomorrow’s event is predicted to be extra noteworthy. Apple is expected to release several exciting devices and services, including new, larger iPhones and the highly-anticipated iWatch.

Apple’s special event page is likely a strategy to help build up hype for the event, reminding viewers that information and announcements from the event, along with a live stream, will be available at Apple.com.

The media event is scheduled to occur in just over twenty hours. Product information and announcements can be found right here at NewsForShoppers.com immediately following the event.
