Keanu Reeves Is Headed To TV

Keanu Reeves is the latest movie star to make the jump to the small screen.

Deadline.com reports that Reeves will produce and star in Rain, based on the best selling novel by Barry Eisler.

He will play the character of John Rain, a half Japanese, half American contract killer.

Reeve’s character will have a flare for taking out his targets inconspicuously, with cause of death appearing as natural causes.

The Matrix star is the next in a long line of film stars making their way to TV.

Kiefer Sutherland and Sarah Jessica Parker made the leap seamlessly over a decade ago with 24 and Sex in the City respectively.

Over the last few years the TV land has become crowded with movie stars: Kevin Bacon, Woody Harrelson, Matthew Mcconaughey, have all made the transition successfully.

Last year we even saw the late great Robin Williams make his heralded return to the world of sitcoms.

The invisible line between movie and TV is blurring; Stars can now cross between the two worlds with ease.

Keanu Reeves is the next to cross over,  only time will tell if he will have the success of his predecessors.

What movie stars would you like to see cross over to the world of television? Let us know in the comments!
