Kentucky Derby 2016: TV, Race Time, Live Stream, Odds & Post Positions

The 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby takes place this Saturday, May 7, at historic Churchill Downs.

For those planning to watch (or bet) we have everything you need to know.

Last year’s Derby was the start of something special, as winner American Pharoah went on to win the Triple Crown.

This year, Pharoah’s jockey, Victor Espinoza, will be competing once again, on horse Whitmore, and while many are looking for magic to strike again, with 20-1 odds it seems unlikely.

This year, Nyquist is the odds on favorite for the $2 million dollar purse, leading a pack of impressive horses down the 1 1/4 mile track.
