KTM And Husqvarna Recall 2015 Model Year Bikes

KTM and Husqvarna are recalling model year 2015 Enduro-style off-road bikes. Models affected are powered by 125cc to 300cc, 2-cycle engines and 250cc to 450cc, 4-cycle engines.

The danger is that defective front fork pistons can jam and cause a loss of control.

The affected bikes have an “F” in the 10th position of the VIN (vehicle identification number), located on the right side of the steering head.

KTM motorcycles are orange and black with the KTM logo on both sides of the shrouds covering the fuel tank. The engine size is printed on both sides of the rear fender below the rear of the seat.

Husqvarna motorcycles are white with blue and yellow markings. The Husqvarna logo and engine size are on both sides of the shrouds covering the fuel tank.

If you own any of the recalled models or are unsure if your bike is affected, stop riding it and take it to your local dealer.
