Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” 99 Cent Sale Ending Tonight

Amazon’s 99 cent sale on Lady Gaga’s album “Born This Way” will be over at the end of today. Amazon goes by Pacific Standard Time, so we are looking at today being over at 3 am in the Easter Time Zone, 2 am Central, 1 am Mountain.

The promotion of the album has brought Amazon’s servers to their knees. Many customers are using Amazon’s feedback feature to complain about not being about to download the album after they purchased it. Amazon has responded by posting a note on the “Born This Way” ordering page saying “We’re experiencing high volume and downloads are delayed. If you order today, you will get the full Lady Gaga album for $0.99. Thanks for your patience. ”

“Born This Way” is expected by industry analysts to be the biggest selling album of the year. Buyers on Amazon, while leaving negative feedback due to their inability to download Lady Gaga’s new album immediately, are also leaving feedback expressing amazement at being able to get the album for 99 cents. “Born This Way” is selling for $11.99 to $15.99 over at the iTunes Store (the higher priced version includes 8 extra songs.
