Lindsay Lohan’s attorney went on record Wednesday to state that her client “never consumed alcohol or drugs while at the Betty Ford rehab center.”

Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan’s attorney, came out with this statement after being informed that detectives in Riverside County believed that Lohan violated her probation.

Among accusations of battery, Lohan allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test at the Betty Ford rehab center, and she is even alleged to have had the smell of alcohol on her breath at the time, which is a violation of her parole conditions, and could lead to jail time.

“I had numerous conversations with Betty Ford counselors and doctors over the course of Lindsay’s treatment there and it was never suggested by anyone that she ever drank or used drugs,” said Holley. “Her discharge letter from the facility is totally consistent with that.”

This isn’t the first time former child star Lindsay Lohan has made headlines. Judge Elden Fox has previously stated that if her parole were violated another time she would be sentenced to six months in prison.

For the time being, Lohan will undergo state mandated drug and alcohol tests at random intervals until her hearing on February 25th.
