Several sites will be streaming live fireworks tonight. We discovered though, that finding them can be rather difficult. Many supposed links-to-live-streaming-fireworks lead to spam sites, survey sites, sites that want you to download something, or just places where you don’t find any live streaming anything.
So were putting together a list of some that appear legit, by checking the sources and doing some testing.
Here’s the shortlist.
USStream is listing the Macy’s fireworks in New York City and the fireworks in Washington, DC, as being live on their site tonight. The Macy’s feed appears to already be up and functioning, though it’s still daylight there and the time of writing this. www.ustream.tv/discovery/live/all?q=fireworks They do not list times, but are likely to be around 9pm Eastern Standard Time
VenetiaOnline will be showing the fireworks live from Miami, Florida. Scheduled to start at 9pm EST, at www.venetiaonline.com/live-miami-fireworks-stream-9pm-7-4/2011/07/04/
And so far, that’s what we have found that hasn’t led nowhere or set off our malware warning alarms.
