Mac Mini 2011 (Thunderbolt) Now On Sale – Specs And Price

Apple has unveiled their new Mac Mini desktop computer.  The Mac mini has always been a cheaper entry level desktop computer for people looking for the iMac experience without the iMac price tag.  The new Mac mini’s are priced at $599 and $799.

The $599 model comes with a 500 GB hard drive, a 2.3 GHz duel-core i5 processor, 2 GB of RAM (expandable up to 8 GB), and a Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor with 288MB of DDR3 SDRAM.  It also comes with Thunderbolt connectivity, an HDMI port, built in Wi-fi and Bluetooth and OS X Lion.

The $799 model also has a 500 GB hard drive, a 2.5 GHz quad-core i7 processor, 4 GB of RAM (expandable up to 8 GB), dedicated AMD Radeon HD 6630M graphics processor.  It also features the built in connectivity features of the lower priced model.

Finally is the $999 Mac Mini with Lion Server with its 2.0GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 6MB on-chip shared L3 cache, 4 GB of RAM (expandable to 8), dual 500 GB hard drives, Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor with 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM graphics processor, and all the rest of the standard features listed above.
