Mega Millions Winner Identified In Washington

Mega Millions lottery winner in Washington gears up to claim his half of the $380 million jackpot.

According to Lottery spokesperson Scott Kinney, the big winner was a retired Washington resident who purchased the winning ticket at a supermarket in the town of Ephrata.

Thousands of people had been lined up to purchase tickets for the Mega Millions lottery, and the $380 million jackpot is the second largest in the history of the game.

The second winner has yet to be identified and lives in Post Falls, Idaho.

Surprisingly, four out of the six numbers on the winning ticket were the same as the numbers used in the television series “Lost.” This game’s lucky numbers were 4, 8, 15, 25, and 47, with Mega ball number 42. In the popular television show, the numbers that character Hurley chose to win his millions were 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42.

Over 26,000 people played the numbers from “Lost” and each will receive $150 for hitting 4 out of the 6 numbers.

The winner in Idaho will receive a lump sum of $81 million after taxes, and the Washington winner will only have to pay federal taxes, giving him a total of $90 million.
