Get the Moto X for $299
Smartphone shoppers can get $100 off the Motorola Moto X on Jan. 27, Motorola announced on its Twitter account.
The deal brings the total cost of the phone to $299, but has a time limit. The price will only available between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET on that day.
If you miss out on the first deal, however, Motorola is also offering customers $70 off the Moto X through Valentines Day. This brings to the total price to $329.
Motorola seems to really want to push these devices out the door, because a $299 price tag is a nice value for a no-contract smartphone. The phone was recently selling for as high as $500.
The Motorola X is an Android-based device with a 4.7-inch AMOLED display, 10-MP camera, 2 GB of RAM, 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Krait CPU, and a battery that lasts up to 24 hours. It’s also customizable with a variety of color options.
