Compared to round 1 of the 2014 NBA playoffs, round 2 has been less-than-exciting, with 3 of the first 4 games being blowouts.
Hopefully that’s about to change since some of tonight’s teams are already in must-win situations.
The Brooklyn Nets are one of those teams. They were soundly beaten in game 1, 107-86 by the defending champion Miami Heat and looked completely outmatched.
They need to find some of their regular season magic against Miami (they swept the Heat 4-0) and pull out a win tonight or they’ll be down 0-2, which might be too much to overcome against the Heat.
Tonight’s game is at 7 P.M. (EST) on ESPN2 live from American Airlines Arena in Miami.
Tickets for tonight’s game are still available.
Tonight’s other match-up featuring The Portland Trail Blazers and The San Antonio Spurs can also be seen a must-win for Portland, as they were embarrassed in game 1, 116-92.
Portland, led by Lillard and Aldridge, couldn’t get anything going almost from the start. They will need to do a complete 180 and win tonight if they have any hopes of winning this series.
The Spurs are a veteran team and their star players, Tm Duncan and Tony Parker, are proven winners with 3 championships since 2003.
Game 2 airs tonight live from the AT&T Center at 9:30 P.M. (EST) on ESPN2.
Tickets are on sale now for tonight’s game.
You can also catch all the games on your computer, smartphone, iPad or tablet through live streaming from: Television Fanatic, the Watch ESPN App or with your NBA Live Pass.
