All Orange Is The New Black fans can finally rejoice as Netflix has finally revealed that Season 2 will debut on June 6, 2014.
As they have done with previous Netflix original series, the 13 new episodes will be available all at once!
Netflix surprised viewers by making the big reveal after the Season 2 finale episode of its political drama hit House of Cards, which premiered on February 14.
Orange Is The New Black, a Jenji Kohan comedic prison drama based on Piper Kerman’s memoir, follows Piper (Taylor Schilling) during her yearlong stay in Litchfield Penitentiary for smuggling drug money across international territory for her then lover Alex (Laura Prepon).
Laura Prepon will return for the majority of season 2, while Danielle Brooks, Taryn Manning, Uzo Aduba will all return as series regulars.
Debuting last summer, Orange Is The New Black not only made history by becoming Netflix’s most-watched original series, but also received a Golden Globe nomination for its lead star Taylor Schilling after completing just one season.
