New Edition – Back Together for 2014 Tour

Attention R&B Heads!!

New Edition is back together for a national tour in 2014.

The tour kicks off in late June at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Casinos in Connecticut. It ends in August 2014 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

The six man R&B group will be singing all of their signature hits, such as “Can You Stand the Rain”, “Mr. Telephone Man” and “Hit Me Off”.

If you’re a fan of old-fashion R&B groups with a modern twist, New Edition is for you. This year marks the group’s third decade in the music industry.

New Edition, unlike other R&B groups, never officially broke up. The members have done other side projects, like Bell Biv DeVoe, (BBD), where group members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins and Ronnie DeVoe, formed their own successful group. They had major hits like “Poison” and “Do Me Baby”.

Lead singers Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill also had success with their solo albums. Also added to the mix is Bobby Brown. Like many fans, I can’t wait to hear him sing ” My Perogative”.

This group has laid the foundation for other groups, like Boyz II Men, who was discovered and managed by Michael Bivins.

I’ll be watching them at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on June 29!

For tickets, check out New Edition Tour at Ticketmaster, or other ticket venues.

Let me know what town you’ll be checking the group from!
