New Frozen Princesses Make a Grand Entrance in Disney

The new hit Disney movie, Frozen, made its way onto the big screen in November 2013.

Since then,it has become the highest-grossing animated film of all time as well as the sixth highest-grossing film overall.

So it’s no wonder that the two main stars, Queen Elsa and Princess Anna, made their debut at Disneyland and Disneyworld only a few short weeks after the movie’s release.

As of right now, Elsa and Anna are two of the most sought after princesses in the parks. While stationed in Fairytail Hall, in Disneyworld, the wait time to meet the royals was over three hours.

Other princesses located in the hall, such as Rapunzel and Cinderella, only had wait times of fifteen minutes each, but that’s not the only sign of Frozen’s popularity.

Disney has made major changes to their gift shops as well. Elsa wigs and crowns hung on a majority of the stores’ hooks, while mugs and plates with Anna’s face on them decorated their shelves. Olaf, their talking snowman companion, appeared on a number of shirts and accessories also.

Clearly, Disney knows who the new favorites are in their “Princess” line.

If you plan to meet the rulers of Arendelle, don’t feel like you only have a limited time to act. The sister-duo have already had their official coronation in both of the parks, showing that they are here to stay for a long time.
