Rockstar has released a brand new trailer for GTA 5.
The new trailer puts the focus on the three protagonists, Michael, Trevor, and Franklin.
The trailer is inter-spliced with action sequences and the beautiful world of Los Santos.
Like the previous trailer, it appears that the cut scenes are running on the game engine itself, providing for some stunning visuals of characters, vehicles, and the city.
Michael is shown with his dysfunctional family – a teenage daughter and a son called James.
Trevor is revealed to be aggressive and short tempered, with violent outbursts.
Franklin is shown stealing cars and trying to fit in.
All three protagonists are shown together at the end of the trailer as comrades, which will play a huge part in GTA 5.
A lot of fast paced action sequences are shown in the trailer. There’s a robbery, foot chase with a dog, rappelling down buildings, and more.
We get a quick view of the dirt bike race, and also the spectacular visual of two trains colliding while Trevor tries to escape atop one of them. In a climatic sequence, we see a fighter jet fire and destroy a helicopter with a missile.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is positioned to be one of the most anticipated games of next year. The game is expected to be released in the Spring of 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
