Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has unveiled a new short story that continues the saga of Harry and his friends, and is sure to excite and intrigue fans.
Via the Pottermore website, Rowling released a story that catches up with Harry, who is now 34 years old. The story helps to fill in some of the cracks in the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which actually takes place roughly three years after this latest story.
Without giving too much away, Rowling’s new short story is in the form of an article title: Dumbledore’s Army Reunites at Quidditch World Cup Final, which was written Daily Prophet gossip columnist, Rita Skeeter.
Rowling remains firmly committed to not writing anymore Harry Potter novels, so coming out with a short story that continues his story will come as a pleasant surprise to most fans, and should act as some consolation to not getting several hundred more pages about Harry and his friends all at once.
Fans who are registered with Pottermore, can read the complete story at that site.
