New Teaser For Star Wars: The Force Awakens

A new teaser for the upcoming J.J. Abrams film Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anheim, California.

Just like the first teaser, this second trailer only has brief shots of the movie, not giving away much about the characters and the plot.

The teaser invokes plenty of nostalgia for old fans. Some of the shout-outs include the ancient wreckage of a Star Destroyer and an X-Wing, the charred remains of Darth Vader’s helmet, a lightsaber, and re-designed Stormtroopers.

There are also appearances by R2-D2, the Millennium Falcon, and by the end of the trailer, Harrison Ford as Han Solo and Chewbacca. The narration is probably done by a young Luke Skywalker, due to the discussion of the Force and his relatives.

In addition, new characters and elements are shown as well. We see more glimpses of the new characters Poe Dameron, Finn, and Rey, as well as BB-8 rolling around the landscape. The masked figure, previously identified as Kylo Ren, is also prominent, along with other masked characters.

The film will star John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Max von Sydow, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, and Lupita Nyong’o. In addition to Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker will also reprise their iconic roles.

The Force Awakens will open on theaters on December 18, 2015.

Enjoy the trailer below and don’t forget to comment as well.
