New Trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil Out Now

Netflix has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming series made in collaboration with Marvel Entertainment, Marvel’s Daredevil.

The trailer features narration from both Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) as they describe their different, yet similar motivations in trying to save Hell’s Kitchen in New York City. The video features footage of Matt’s origin, particularly the incident with radioactive waste that blinded him as a child, as well as hints of his boxer father, “Battlin'” Jack Murdock, and his Catholic faith.

In addition, other cast members are featured, including Elden Henson as Matt’s best friend and law partner, Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, a love interest and supporting character with a history of drug abuse, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, who is a version of the Marvel character Night Nurse, and Scott Glenn as Stick, an old, blind man that teaches a young Matt how to use his disability and new powers in combat.

The series deals with Matt Murdock, a small-time lawyer who moonlights as a vigilante with enhanced senses that cleans up a crime-infested Hell’s Kitchen, particularly after his father is murdered by them.

The show will be developed by Drew Goddard. It will be available to stream on Netflix on April 10th.
