The Ultimate Warrior was a highly popular wrestler in the past. In fact, the only one that was more popular was Hulk Hogan at one point in time.
In the past few days there have been many reports on wrestling news sites that said Warrior was inside WWE headquarters in order to negotiate filming an ad that promoted the inclusion of The Ultimate Warrior character inside the new 2K14 game.
You can’t trust most of the reports that appear when talking about professional wrestling – but this one is true.
The new ad, featuring Warrior (formerly known as James Brian Hellwig before legally changing his name to Warrior), was uploaded to the WWE Games YouTube account two days ago and already has over 400,000 views.
The reactions of the fans were mixed, which is exactly what the developers had in mind. The addition of the Ultimate Warrior character to the game is designed to convince past wrestling fans to buy the game.
Love him or hate him, The Ultimate Warrior is a big part of wrestling history, and the new ad brings back memories for all fans of this sport.
