NFL 2014 Week 4: Full Sunday TV Schedule/Streaming/Match-Ups & Preview

Week 4 of the 2014 NFL season should be a quiet one- at least in terms of scandals, which means everyone can focus on the games.

Sunday’s games are being broadcast on CBS, Fox and NBC (check your local listings to see which games are being aired in your area).

Those being shown in the NY State area are highlighted:

Buffalo at Houston 1 P.M. (EST) on CBS

Greenbay at Chicago 1 P.M. (EST) on Fox

Carolina at Baltimore 1 P.M. (EST) on CBS

Tennessee at Indianapolis 1 P.M. (EST) on CBS

Detroit at Jets 1 P.M. (EST) on Fox

Tampa Bay at Pittsburgh 1 P.M. (EST) on Fox

Miami at Oakland 1 P.M. (EST) on CBS

Jacksonville at San Diego 4:05 P.M. (EST) on CBS

Philadelphia at San Francisco 4:25 P.M. (EST) on Fox

Atlanta at Minnesota 4:25 P.M. (EST) on Fox

New Orleans at Dallas 8:30 P.M. (EST) on NBC

Live streaming is available from NBC Sports Extra, and DIRECTV Sunday Ticket.

All NFL games can be seen using the DIRECTV Sunday Ticket.  The Sunday Ticket requires a subscription, which starts at $199 and is available to all DIRECTV customers.

Those who do not have DIRECTV, but live in NY City, Philadelphia or San Francisco are eligible to purchase the service as well.

NBC Sports Extra can be used for games being broadcast by NBC.  The service is free but can only be accessed through your existing internet provider.

Verizon customers who have the Verizon Wireless More Everything Plan can also watch games through live stream for free, as they dropped the $5 service fee for this season.

Here’s your week 4 preview & key match-ups:

-Lions versus Jets should be a great defensive display:  the Lions are ranked 2nd in run defense while NY is ranked 1st.

The Jets have allowed their opponents  just 55 yards per game rushing and that trend should continue here.

The real question will be which QB gets the job done: both  Geno Smith and Matthew Stafford have been far from perfect and want to prove their worth, it may be a question of who wants it more.

Look for a low scoring game, with the Jets winning 17-14.

-Philadelphia versus the 49ers should be another win for the Eagles, unless San Fran figures out a way to stop their offense.

49er QB Colin Kaepernick is know for comebacks, bit I think the Eagles just have too many offensive weapons.

Look for a back and forth game, with the Eagles winning 28-24.

-New Orleans versus  Dallas should be an old-fashioned QB brawl since both these teams are all anbout offense.

Drew Brees and Tony Romo should  have great games with little to challenge them, so it’s just a question of who puts up more points.

This will be a high-scoring game, with Dallas winning 38-34.
