This year’s Stanley Cup championship series between The New York Ranger and The Los Angeles Kings is shaping to be the most expensive one in history.
Ranger fans hoping to score Stanley Cup home tickets better hope to hit the lottery if they want to see their team play up-close and in-person.
Tickets for the championship series are available, but they are going for insane prices, which means the average fan will have to watch from their local bar or at home
Fans could hop a plane to Los Angeles, where prices are dramatically lower, but the airfare would negate most savings.
Vivid Seats has tickets starting at $ 812, but those tickets are for the nosebleed sections in the top level. If you want decent seats (upper level) they’ll cost you anywhere from $1,100 to $1,600. Center level will cost around $2,000.
StubHub has tickets too, but their prices are even higher! Their top level seats start at $1500, upper level run around $1300 to $1700 and center level cost $2,200 to $2,500. Center level suites cost a whopping $4,000!!
Ticket City is also offering tickets in the same price range, from $900 to $4,000. They also have tickets for the Staples Center Games, which are significantly lower, ranging from $400 to $2,000.
Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Championship series is Wednesday June 4 in Los Angeles.
