HBO’s hugely popular Southern vampire series ‘True Blood’ is now in its seventh and final season. With ten episodes (four having already been aired) fans are sure to be wondering how the series is going to end, and which of their favorite characters will make it out ‘alive’.

Two unexpected deaths have already happened, in the series premiere “Jesus Gonna Be Here” vampire Tara Thornton (Rutina Weasley) met the ‘True Death’ at the hands of a gang of Hep-V infected vamps. Just as shocking for viewers was the sudden death of werewolf Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) in episode three.

In a similarly devastating reveal, it was shown in episode three “Fire in the Hole” that the ancient Viking vampire Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) has contracted the disease that is fatal for vampires.
With two beloved characters already dead and another one apparently doomed to follow, fans must be wondering just how many more of the residents of Bon Temps will make it out alive.

Other developments include baby vamp Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) trying to make up for killing three of Andy Bellefleur’s (Chris Bauer) half-fairy daughters by vowing to protect the remaining one – Adilyn Bellefleur (Bailey Noble) – from the marauding packs of Hep-V vamps.

Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) has started thinking more seriously of a future with his vampire girlfriend Violet (Karolina Wydra) while attempting to balance his responsibilities as a deputy on the local police force.

Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is now going to have to deal with the deaths of both her boyfriend and her best friend in a few short days while she attempts to work with Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) to protect the rest of her friends and family from the forces of evil that are attempting to overcome the town of Bon Temps.

‘True Blood’ season seven airs Sundays at 9pm on HBO. What do you think of the season so far? Let us know in the comments below!
