Puppy Bowl 2016 – Channel, Teams, Air Time & More

The Puppy Bowl will be back to take over Super Bowl Sunday on February 7 as Puppy Bowl XII.

Air Time/Channel

Puppy Bowl XII will be broadcasted on Animal Planet (its founding station). The Puppy Bowl Pre-Game Show (also on Animal Planet) starts at 1:30 p.m., CST, followed by Puppy Bowl XII at 2:00 p.m., CST.

The Teams

The Pedigree starting lineups for #TeamRuff and #TeamFluff are composed of 49 adoptable puppies from 44 shelters in 25 states and Puerto Rico. The lineups can be seen here.

Other Animals

Puppies aren’t the only animals viewers will see on Sunday. The Kitty Half-Time Show is put on by adoptable kittens, the cheerleaders are chickens, a new special assistant referee known as Stanley the Skunk will help returning “rufferee” Dan Schachner, and, of course, Meep the Bird will be tweeting live from his perch.
