RIP Leonard Nimoy

Sad news today as Leonard Nimoy, best remembered as his role of Spock on the Star Trek series, and films, died today at the age of 83 in his home in Los Angeles.

His wife, Susan Nimoy, confirmed today with The New York Times. According to her, Nimoy succumb to pulmonary disease.

He tweeted about his disease announcing his diagnosis on his account, @therealnimoy.

His last message read, “A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP”. (Live long and prosper for the layman).

The actor is survived by his wife, two children from his first marriage to actress Sandra Zober, his stepson and grandchildren.

He will be missed.
