Run The Jewels Releases “Oh My Darling Don’t Cry” Song For New Album

With the second Run the Jewels album set for an October 28th release this year, the collaborative rap duo known as EL-P and Killer Mike have released a new track from the anticipated release called “Oh My Darling Don’t Cry.”

Featuring the beat-boxing of Michael Winslow of Police Academy fame, Oh My Darling Don’t Cry” is available to listen and download for free, courtesy of Adult Swim 2014 Singles Program.

As with their original 2013 musical release, Run the Jewels 2 will be made available to download for free, when officially released.

However, for fans wishing to show financial support, El-P and Killer Mike have provided a number of pre-order collectibles available that range from $10 to $10 million.

The $10 million prize package is called “The Run The Jewels Retirement Plan Package” and is hilariously described as EL-P and Killer Mike retiring from the music scene and only writing one song a year for the buyer. “Every song title will be your name with a number next to it.  You are free to exploit these recordings however you feel like,” the description states. However, the asterisk mark at the bottom makes the joke all too clear: “run the jewels reserves the right to take your money and not fulfill any of its obligations as outlined in any package priced at 35k or more.”
