SAG Awards aired and we now have the complete list of the 2011 winners.
It was Melissa Leo, Natalie Portman, Colin Firth and Chirstian Bale that were dominating awards ceremonies in the last few weeks. At the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards there was no exception.
Christian Bale won the Best Male Support Actor SAG award for the Dickie Ecklund role in The Fighter. Melissa Leo won for Best Female Support Actor for her role in the same movie.
Betty White managed to win the Best Comedy Actress award for the first time ever at the age of 89.
The Best Picture award was won by The King’s Speech, overcoming competition from The Social Network. Most people believe that this will also happen at the Oscars.
Natalie Portman won the Best Actress for her role in Black Swan and this came as no surprise for anyone.
Other notable SAG award winners include Julianna Margulies, Alec Baldwin, Al Pacino and Claire Danes.
