Samsung has released a wireless charging cover for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The cover is based on Qi wireless charging standard (which has already been utilized by Nokia).
The wireless charging cover replaces the existing S4 battery door and costs $39.99.
However, if you don’t already have a Qi-enabled charging pad, you’ll need that too. The charging pad costs $49.99 and works with all Qi-enabled smartphones.
Samsung’s US website has the wireless charging cover and pad already listed, but unfortunately it’s showing out of stock at the moment.
However, it’s expected that both the cover and pad will come back in stock pretty soon.
The cover is available in black and white. The charging pad is currently only offered in gray color.
