The developers of Splinter Cell:Blacklist Ubisoft, released a new gameplay walkthrough video revealing the storyline and gameplay footage of the next release in the Splinter Cell franchise, which is supposed to be out for the Xbox 360, Play Station 3 and the PC in Spring, 2013.  The video is a walkthrough having the gameplay footage with voice over by the creative director for Splinter Cell Blacklist Maxime Beland as he reveals more about the game.

Splinter Cell Blacklist has the returning protagonist Sam Fisher, taking up the challenges with a new secret unit called “The Fourth Echelon” which is directly commandeered by the President himself. This time around Sam Fisher is out to stop a group of rogue nations from assassinating U.S interests which are comprised in a list which is known as the Blacklist.

With that brief plot we are greeted to the gameplay visuals, where we have Sam Fisher on the Iraq-Iran border in the midst of several terrorists. Blacklist brings back some of the popular features(sticky shocker) and some new ones like the upgraded snake cam and micro-trirotor drone(which allows Sam to scout ahead, mark targets remotely, distract enemies, or explode with frag grenade force) as well. The visuals and the presentation look solid and the atmosphere, which is crucially associated with the stealth genre is intense and dramatic.

Blacklist is available on pre-order, priced at $59.96  on Amazon, $53.99(PS3) and $58.99(Xbox 360) on It’s also available for pre-ordering through the official website for Splinter Cell Blacklist.
