Stevie Nicks sang “Secret Love” on Dancing with the Stars last night. The song is from her new album, “In Your Dreams.” The album peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The Dancing with the Stars Semifinals results show actually included two singles from Stevie Nicks. The other, a Fleetwood Mac classic, ‘Landslide’. She received a standing ovation from the Dancing with the Stars audience at the end of “Secret Love.”
Stevie Nicks was already in the news before her appearance on DWTS. Just a few days earlier, she confirmed that Fleetwood Mac would be having a reunion.
“When my album and Lindsey [Buckingham’s] albums come to a stop, then Fleetwood Mac will gather again and we’ll either make another record or we won’t and we’ll just go on tour,” Nicks told perezhilton.com. The group last toured in 2009.
During the DWTS Semifinals show, Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff were eliminated. This leaves Hines Ward and Kym Johnson, Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, and Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, as the final contestants for next week’s Championship dance off.
