Supernatural: Season 9 Finale to Leave Audiences Shocked

It’s no secret that when it comes to season finales, The CW Network’s longest running TV series, Supernatural, does not disappoint. However, next week’s finale is said to be their most shocking so far.

Dean is a mess, Castiel has lost his army, and, for once, Sam is the one who is normal, wondering what’s wrong with his brother.

While a cliffhanger is to be expected for next Tuesday’s episode, 9×23 Do You Believe in Miracles, this one is going to be a new one for the boys.

Producer Andrew Dabb told E! that this finale put Sam and Dean in a situation in which they have never experienced before. Dabb said, “Once [the audience sees] the last frame of the last episode, I think people are going to be incredibly excited for Season 10″.

The three lead actors for the show, Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), and Misha Collins (Castiel) attended the CW Upfronts Presentation 2014, hinting towards the ending of the finale. All three actors admitted to JustJared that they were surprised by the episode’s ending:

“I’d say don’t miss the last 30 seconds of the finale.” – Jared Padalecki

“When I read the script for the finale, I was definitely shocked. I thought, ‘Can they do this?’  The last five seconds!” – Misha Collins

“It’s the last second. The moment the screen goes black.  There are multiple characters involved.  There’s a predicament now.” – Jensen Ackles

So, which characters do you think are involved in these game-changing last seconds? Do you think this Tuesday’s finale will surpass previous seasons? Let us know in the comments below!
