T-Mobile’s Father Day Sale For 2011

T-Mobile has announced this year’s cell phone Father’s Day sale.

Last year they made quite a splash with a ‘every phone for free’ sale. With various T-Mobile contracts of course. However, with the surge of more expensive smart phones over the last year, we suspect ‘all phones free’ type sales won’t be seen again for quite some time.

For 2011, the T-Mobile Father’s Day special isn’t quite as ambitious. But it’s still a better deal than you get on a day without a special. For one day only, June 18th (the day before Father’s Day), T-Mobile is offering a free data plan (the $10/month 200mb plan) for one year, with the purchase of a $69.99 (or more) per month qualifying plan. The savings is a total of $120.

The special is available to both new T-Mobile customers and existing T-Mobile customers whose contract is 18+ months old. Those going for a higher level data plan receive a $10 credit toward that plan each month for a year.
