Fans of the commercials are taking sneak peeks, as companies release them onto the Internet to create some pre-Super Bowl buzz.
The Doritos Super Bowl commercial that stars a Pug dog has been one of the biggest hits so far. It is posted below for your viewing pleasure.
GM will be running eight spots during the Super Bowl, some of which feature machines other than cars, and one which ties in to the Transformers movie. One of GM’s ads is titled “Ain’t We Got Love” is actually quite nostalgic. Giddy up, giddy up 409!
Budweiser, surprise, brings back the horses. Motorola will be taking aim at Apple.
Go Daddy will be hinting that you’re gonna get to see Danica Patrick and Jillian Michaels naked on their site! Think they’ll show up? The ad warns that the content on the website is “unrated”, uh-hunh.
During the Super Bowl we’re going to get ads with Justin Bieber, Ozzy Osbourne, Danny Trejo, and even Eminem. We’re also gonna get lots of previews for upcoming movies, like Captain America, Super 8, Cowboys and Aliens, Transformers, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
It’s being widely reported that the price of Super Bowl ads this year is about $3 million for a 30 second spot. And that doesn’t include production costs.
