The CW’s “Arrow” Adds Two New Cast Members

The CW’s Arrow has cast two new members for season 3.

Nolan Gerard Funk, a 28 year-old Canadian actor known for his roles on Awkward and Glee, is set to play Cooper Seldon, Felicity Smoak’s ex-boyfriend from her time at MIT.

Though the fact that he is a hacker has been stated, other details concerning his character and involvement with the show have not yet been released.

Rila Fukushima, a Japanese model and actress, has also been cast as a replacement for Devon Aoki in season 3.

Aoki, who was originally set to play Tatsu Yamashiro, a.k.a Katana, a Japanese martial artist who contributed to Oliver Queen’s training, had to back out due to scheduling conflicts.

Fukushima, known for her role in The Wolverine, will step in and appear through Oliver’s flashbacks of his journey in becoming the Arrow.

The season 3 premiere of Arrow is to air on October 8.
