The Expendables 3 & The Giver – Now At Redbox

This week’s Redbox releases include The Expendables 3, The Giver, Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, Wish I Was Here, and The Arsonist.

The Expendables 3 is the sequel to the 2012 flick The Expendables 2, and the third film in The Expendables series.

This time around, the team of mercenaries must go up against Conrad Stonebanks, a ruthless arms dealer and one of the original founding members of the Expendables team.

The Expendables 3 stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas and Kelsey Grammar.

The Giver is the 2014 science-fiction drama about a young boy living in a futuristic world with no suffering who is chosen to learn about the dark truths of his community’s past.

The film is actually based on the 1993 novel of same name.

Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Brenton Thwaites, Alexander Skarsgard and Katie Holmes star in The Giver.

Next up is the comedy Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, which was directed, written, produced by and starring Tyler Perry.

In this seventh film from the Madea franchise, Madea helps a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit for Christmas.

Kathy Najimy, Chad Michael Murray, Anna Maria Horsford and Tika Sumpter co-star in Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas.

Wish I Was Here is the 2014 dramedy directed by and starring Zach Braff.

The film tells the story of a struggling 35-year old father who starts to uncover his true identity after he begins homeschooling his kids.

Kate Hudson, Ashley Greene, Mandy Patinkin and Josh Gad co-star in Wish I Was Here.

Last but not least this week is the suspense thriller The Arsonist, starring Julie Benz.

When an innocent mother is charged with arson and the murder of her son, she must go undercover in order to find out what really happened and prove her son is alive.

Rick Ravanello, Chelah Horsdal, Matthew Kevin Anderson and Maxwell Kovach co-star in The Arsonist.
