November 21st can’t come fast enough for fans of “The Hunger Games” trilogy, however we got a little tease today for the next installment: Mockinjay Part 1.
In the teaser trailer, President Snow is addressing the nation of Panem. As the camera pans around and begins to zoom out, we notice someone standing next to President Snow wearing all white – it’s Peeta. We learned at the end of “Catching Fire” that Peeta was captured by the Capitol. Now it looks as though he’s standing next to Snow as his obedient servant.
They have to be brainwashing Peeta – right? There’s no way he would turn on Katniss and take the Capitol’s side. Or could he? Those of you who haven’t read the best-selling books by Suzanne Collins will have to wait until Mockingjay Part 1 hits theaters on November 21st.
Even after we finally get to see Mockingjay Part 1, it will be another painful waiting period for Mockingjay Part 2 to come out in November 2015. However I’m sure it will be worth the wait. Until then, check out the teaser trailer here.
