After being voted the most anticipated movie trailer or ad of Super Bowl XLVIII, the first footage of Transformers 4 premiered during the second quarter!
To date, the franchise has earned over 2.6 billion worldwide! The fourth film is intended to be a semi-reboot of the franchise, one that will pave the way for future creative teams.
In this fourth installment in the popular Transformer films, the Autobots and Decepticons have gotten a complete revamp, resulting in a more organic and alien look.
Michael Bay directed the film, from a script by Ehren Kruger.
Transformers: Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller, Han Geng and Titus Welliver.
The action adventure will hit theaters and IMAX on June 27, 2014.
