Talks about the U2 concert in Moncton have been going on since the beginning of the year, which had followed a couple years of rumours of the band attending the Hub city. Well that day is almost here; with less than two weeks before the concert, people are looking for last minute tickets.

The U2 concert in Moncton still does has some tickets available; however, the cheapest seats, which are behind the stage, have been sold out for a while. There are also people selling tickets on Kijiji, and websites such as Stub Hub.

Although the cheapest seats are behind the stage, there has been much hype about the 360° stage that is in the completion phase of installation at the Magnetic Hill concert site. This means the people in these seats will still be able to see.

Stub Hub offers these bandstand tickets for the U2 concert for as low as $16.00. However, when purchasing tickets from someone other than the official concert ticket sellers, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) warns consumers to be careful. As they quote on their website “If at all possible, buy resale tickets through PayPal or with a credit card. These types of payments can be traced, and if necessary, cancelled or challenged if you are within the proper window of time.”

The city of Moncton is expecting over 100,000 U2 concert goers on July 30th, and is getting ready in order to avoid as much disruption as possible. They have learned from previous concerts and have done some changes this year in the way the Codiac Transit shuttle service works. The city has arranged to have two pick-up points in the city (Moncton Coliseum and CN rail parking lot) where people can park and ride.
