This week’s Redbox releases include Transcendence, Muppets Most Wanted, Rio 2, Rage and Locke.

Transcendence is the 2014 science fiction film about an artificial intelligence researcher who is brought back to life when his consciousness is uploaded into a machine.

Transcendence stars Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, Paul Bettany, Cillian Murphy, Kate Mara and Morgan Freeman.

Muppets Most Wanted is the sequel to the 2011 comedy The Muppets.

This time around, trouble finds the Muppets gang on a world tour when they become involved with Constantine, the world’s “Number One” criminal who just so happens to look exactly like Kermit the Frog.

In addition to your favorite Muppet characters, Muppets Most Wanted features appearances from Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey.

Next up is Rio 2, the sequel to 2011 animated hit Rio.

When Blu, Jewel and their family move from the city to the Amazon, Blu has trouble fitting in.

Rio 2 features the voices of Anne Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg,, Jemaine Clement and Kristin Chenoweth.

Action star Nicolas Cage returns to television screens this week in the thriller Rage.

Cage plays a father and businessman with a dark criminal past.

When his teen daughter is kidnapped, however, he must get the old crew back together in order to find her and seek justice.

Rachel Nichols, Danny Glover, Peter Stomare and Aubrey Peeples co-star in Rage.

And finally this week is the British drama Locke, starring Tom Hardy.

In the flick, a man is forced to make a decision during a 90-minute car ride that could destroy his family, his job and his life.

Tom Holland, Ruth Wilson, Alice Lowe and Olivia Colman co-star in Locke.
