Tundra Recall – Troubles Continue for Toyota

Toyota has initiated a recall of certain 2011 Tundra trucks that came equpped with a 3-Joint propeller shaft.  Do to improper casting, there is a potential for the slip yoke to break.

Such a break can result in a loss of motion and driver control, increasing the risk of a crash.  Toyota will notify owners whose vehicles are subject to the recall.

Toyota will inspect the propeller shaft.  If there is a defect, they will replace it free of charge.
