Valentine’s Day is one of the biggest holidays for advertisers out there, with Americans expected to spend $18.6 billion this year.

The National Retail Federation released a survey which states that American will spend $815 million on pets this Valentines Day.

Retailers are geared toward the nation’s love of pets, both online and in store.

Petco has a portion of its site devoted to Valentine’s presents for dogs and cats.

Consumers can find a vast array of unique gifts from sites like Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies, & Feathered Friends Rescue who has an exclusive line of  Hellbun’s tee-shirts for your bunny.

Rosebud’s Wagon offers a vast variety of handmade bunny earrings, and take custom orders as well.

Walmart, Kmart, and Target also have a dedicated platform for Valentine’s gifts for pets.

The Retail trade association estimates that nearly 20% of Americans will spend an average of $5.51 on these gifts.
