Vanessa Hudgens recently appeared at the Neutrogena’s 2nd Annual Wave for Change By Helping kids Make A Difference charity event in Los Angeles with a very short hairdo. The new look was for a part she is portraying, a pregnant, homeless teen in a new movie called “Gimme Shelter”. When Hudgens was spotted on the set, everyone thought she was wearing a wig. When she showed up at the Captain America premiere with her short hair up in a neat hairdo, everyone knew Vanessa had gone to great lengths to fit into the part. To give it a more realistic, rough look Vanessa actually cut the hair herself on set with the assistance of Gimme Shelter director Ron Krauss.
But everywhere Vanessa Hudgens appeared in public, she kept her sense of style and fashion. At the Captain America premiere, the High School Musical star wore a bohemian style outfit from Farah Khan with matching wedges by Giuseppe Zanotti. The close cropped hair also allowed Vanessa to show off her butterfly tattoo on the back of her neck, which is typically hidden beneath her normally long locks. At the Neutrogena event, she was dressed in a bright, colorful blouse and jeans posing with Hayden Panettiere. Vanessa was also seen in Studio City sporting a chic black maxi dress with ruched detailing matched with studded sandals and a brown handbag.
