Veterans, active military personnel, and their dependents or family members can take advantage of numerous discounts being offered this week in honor of Veterans Day for 2014.
Savings include up to 40% off purchases including tools, electronics, hardware, home décor, groceries, crafts, and more.
Discounts require current or former proof of service or a military dependent ID.
Here’s a list of stores offering military and veteran discounts for Veterans Day 2014:
24 Hour Fitness: Free all-club access for military personnel.
Barnes and Noble: 15% off deal on Samsung Galaxy Tab Nook or Nook Glowlight, in stores only, on November 11. Discount is good for veterans, active duty military personnel, and families.
Bed, Bath, and Beyond: Through November 11, discount of 20% off entire purchase for veterans, military members and their spouses.
Brooks Brothers: Veterans and active military members get 20% off entire in-store purchases through November 11.
Dell: On November 11, get an extra 15% off PCs and tablets for current and former military personnel.
Dollar General: 11% discount, good in stores and online, for active military and veterans on November 11.
Food Lion: Former and current military personnel and their families save 10% on Veterans Day.
Home Depot: Save 10% (up to $500) on purchases.
JC Penney: Get an extra 20% off in stores through November 15 (some exlusions apply).
JoAnn Craft: In store only, Military Discount Days offers 20% off a total purchase including regular, sale-priced, and clearance items to veterans, military members, and their families.
Publix: On Veterans Day, Tuesday November 11, save 10% for veterans, military personnel, and family members.
Sears: Save 40% on regularly priced Craftsman tool sets or an extra 10% off sale priced sets through November 11.
Staples: Veterans, active duty personnel, reservists, and their immediate families save 10% off all week long (11-9-14 through 11-15-14) at all U.S. locations. Some exclusions apply.
World Market: 20% off storewide (in-store only), excluding alcohol, with Military ID Card (active duty, dependents, retiree, guard/reserves, veterans and military spouses) or VFW, American Legion, Veterans Administration or Veterans Advantage membership card through November 11.
