Whirlwind Trip From US To Germany And Back For $300

A low cost airline out of Minneapolis/St. Paul is offering a whirlwind trip to Germany from the US for $300 (plus fees/taxes) round trip.

The flight departs for Berlin, Germany, from Minneapolis/St. Paul, on March 21, taking passengers on an international flight for a 30 hour visit of the capital of Germany. The return flight is on March 23. For an additional $86 (per person based on double occupancy), travelers can spend the night at the Crown Plaza Berlin City Centre as part of a package deal.

The deal is being offered by Sun Country Airlines, at suncountry.com. According to Sun Country, they expect fees and taxes to add approximately $150 per person to the overall cost of the trip. Tickets must be purchased by 9am Central Standard Time (CST), March 21st, 2011. Package deals must be purchased by 11:59pm CST, March 18, 2011. The flight departs Minneapolis-St. Paul on Monday at 2pm CST, has a refueling stop in Gander, Newfoundland, and is scheduled to arrive in Berlin on Tuesday, at 7am Central European Time (CET).

The return trip is set to leave 30 hours later, departing Berlin on the following day, at 1pm CET, again refueling in Gander, and is scheduled to arrive back in Minneapolis-St. Paul on Wednesday, at 7:30pm CST.
