World Cup Final: Germany V Argentina Live Stream, Radio & Preview

After 1 month, 64 matches and 170 goals it’s finally come down to this: Germany Vs Argentina in the World Cup final.

If you’d like to watch or listen to the match online or on radio, check out the details below.

The final kicks off at 15:00 ET (20:00 BST), and is being streamed live online by both ESPN (subscription required) and ITV. ITV coverage is free, but may require you to enter a valid UK postal code if the site cannot verify your location.

For live online audio coverage, listeners should check out either ESPN or the BBC. US listeners can also tune-in to their local ESPN Affiliate station for radio coverage.

Update: The half time score is 0-0, with both teams having had some good chances. This could be anyone’s game!

Germany enter the match as favorites, and Argentina will have to significantly improve on their performance in the semi-finals if they are to stand a chance of winning.

The South American team scraped through their last match against Holland after a 0-0 draw led to a penalty shootout. Germany on the other hand beat Brazil to reach the finals, a match that ended in staggering 7-1 defeat for the host nation.

I think it will be Germany lifting the trophy at the end of today’s game, and while the Argentine team will make a good fight of it I believe it will be settled within 90 minutes. Expect some more heroics from German keeper Manuel Neuer, and Miroslav Klose may well increase his record for number of goals scored in a World Cup.

My final score prediction is 3-1 to Germany.

Do you think the Germans will win? Will you miss the tournament now it’s coming to a close?
