Charles Trippy, a full-time YouTube vlogger and bass player for We The Kings, took to his Twitter last night to confront various cheating allegations.

Charles has been video blogging (vlogging) his daily life with his wife, Alli Speed (formerly Trippy), for the last 5+ years.  The channel holds the Guinness World Record for Most Consecutive Number of Video Blogs uploaded to YouTube, now with 1,478,945 subscribers.

Charles was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February 2012, and has had two brain surgeries since then, one of which he filmed for his audience.  The couple announced in a video that the tumor was diagnosed as malignant in October 2013, and Charles has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

On April 8, 2014, Charles made a video for the channel, CTFxC, announcing his and Alli’s separation.  It was a sudden announcement that caused uproar within the fan base, even causing “Charles and Alli” to trend worldwide on Twitter.  Alli was not in this video.  Alli made her own video on her channel, Alli, explaining her side of the story.  The cheating accusations were first made towards Alli, claiming that she had cheated on Charles.  She somewhat addressed those claims within her video:

“I’m never gonna make a video defending myself against any rumors that were said, because the people that know me know the truth, and I know the truth, and that’s the only thing that matters, quite frankly.”

Fans made many accusations towards Charles recently, claiming that Charles had cheated on Alli.   He joked at the beginning with fans that he was dating many of his fellow YouTube friends such as Shay Butler, Michael Buckley, and Jesse Wellens, as well as his fellow We The Kings band members.  After many joking tweets, Charles became fed up:

“When we were together I was 100% faithful.  This is sad.” [x]

“point blank. I did NOT cheat while we were together, being separated doesnt mean what u do next is cheating. If u think that then thats dumb” [x]

“On that sleep well Internet.” [x]

“No more talking about this crap.  Last tweet about it.  Everyone move on.  We have.” [x]
