Apple just announced the new 13 inch MacBook Pro. The new laptop features a Retina display, thus joining the 15 inch version as part of the newest Apple MacBook Pro lineup.
The new 13 inch MacBook Pro features a screen resolution four times better than the previous 13 inch model. It’s also thinner, just 0.75 inches, and lighter, just 3.57 pounds.
When launched last June, the 15 inch, 3rd generation, Macbook Pro quickly became the most important product in the Apple laptop line. The newly upgraded 13 inch model now has many of the same features as its big brother.
The pricing for the new 13 inch MacBook Pro with Retina display was also announced: $1,699. No preordering needed. The new MacBook Pro is in stock and ready to go, according to the company.
