DVDs of the 2012 Summer Olympics are now available for pre-ordering.
There are, at publication time, four different DVDs in the works at the NBCUniversal Store.
The store features a highlight reel of the 2012 summer games. According to the NBCUniversal store, this DVD will include highlights of the opening and closing ceremonies. The DVD is focused on American athletes, and includes coverage of the final heats of competition and the gold medal finals.
The cost of the 2012 Olympics highlights DVD is $19.99 plus $6.95 for standard shipping. A two disc Blu-ray collectors edition is available for $44.99 plus $7.95 shipping.
There is also a DVD highlight reel featuring the US men’s and women’s gymnastics teams, and a DVD featuring the US men’s and women’s swimming teams. Each of these DVDs are listed at $19.99 plus $6.95 shipping.
Each DVD comes with a 1.25″ tall, official, NBC London 2012 Logo commemorative pin and, according to the site, a 100% satisfaction guarantee. The shipping date listed for the 2012 Summer Olympics DVDs is September 25.
