2013 Oscars – Winners, Losers, Highlights & More – Live Updates

The movie industry’s star studded affair is finally here! The 2013 Oscars is set to air 5:30 PT/ 8:30 ET on ABC with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane as the host.

All our favorite actors and actresses are walking the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

For now, here are a few things to expect from some of the performances tonight:

Norah Jones will perform the Oscar-nominated song “Everybody Needs a Best Friend” from the film Ted, while Adele will be performing her Oscar-nominated song “Skyfall.”

Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum are just some of the few presenters of the night.

Kristin Chenoweth will join host Seth MacFarlane for a special closing number.

In the opening segment, Seth MacFarlane sings Sinatra classic “The Way You Look Tonight,” while Channing Tatum & Charlize Theron do a dance number.

Soon After, Daniel Radcliffe & Joseph Gordon Levitt surprise the audience as they sing and dance with MacFarlane.

Octavia Spencer presents first award for Best Supporting Actor: Chistoph Waltz for Django Unchained is declared winner!

Paul Rudd & Melissa McCarthy join forces to present Best Animated Short Film: PaperMan wins!

The duo also present Best Animated Feature Film: Brave wins!

Reese Witherspoon takes the stage to introduce three of the Best Picture nominees: “Les Miserables,” “Life of Pi,” and “Beasts of the Southern Wild.”

Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel Jackson, Jeremy Renner & Mark Ruffalo present award for Best Cinematography: Life of Pi wins!

The group of handsome actors also present for Achievement in Visual Effects: Life of Pi wins again!

Channing Tatum and Jennifer Aniston present award for Costume Design: Anna Karenina wins!

Tatum and Aniston also present award for Makeup & Hairstyling: Les Miserables wins!

Halle Berry introduces clip for the celebration of 50th anniversary of James Bond

Shirley Bassey beautifully sings for James Bond Tribute

Jessica Chastain & Jennifer Garner present Best Foreign Language Film: “Amour” wins!

John Travolta introduces a tribute to a slew of musical performances:
First up: Catherine Zeta joins performs “All That Jazz” from Chicago

Next up: Jennifer Hudson wows the crowd with a stunning performance of “And I’m Telling You” from Dream Girls!
Hudson got a standing ovation for her magical performance.

Finally, here comes the cast of Les Miserables. Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks, and Helena Bonham Carter perform “One Day More.”

Mark Wahlberg & animated star “Ted” present Best Sound Mixing: Les Miserables wins!

Wahlberg & Ted also present the award for Best Sound Editing. There is a tie! No Joke! The first Oscar award goes to Zero Dark Thirty. The second Oscar goes to Skyfall!

Christopher Plummer presents award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role: Anne Hathaway wins for her role in Les Miserables! What a heart-felt speech she gave! She praised her fellow nominees, gave a special shout-out to co-star Hugh Jackman & shared her profound love for her husband.
